Altogic is a backend service development and execution platform, enabling people and businesses to design, deploy and manage scalable web services. Using Altogic, you can design your data model, define your custom services and deploy your data model and custom services as a snapshot to an execution environment. After deployment, you can manage your application's data and execute its services by calling your RESTful API endpoints.
In Altogic, you and your team members work on an App. You can think of an application as your workspace. An application can be as simple as the backend of a task list or as complex as the backend of a CRM (customer relationship management) or ERP (enterprise resource planning) app.
Key entities in Altogic
Each application can have many snapshots and each snapshot can have many models, services, tasks, queues and endpoints. Depending on your account plan, each application can have a single or multiple environments.
It is also important to learn about the basics about expressions which are frequently used in setting parameters of services and querying data.
